Our Programming
PREPARE provides direct services to people incarcerated in Maryland. If you are outside of Maryland, please look under our Education and Resources tab for a wealth of support in helping you or a loved one prepare for parole and reentry.
PREPARE’s direct services in Maryland are made up of three different engagements:

Understanding the parole system and building a parole packet that makes the strongest case for release.

An individualized reentry plan covering housing, work, health and support, tailored to each person’s needs and community.
PREPARE for
Success
Ongoing mentoring from a certified peer recovery specialist, keeping the reentry plan up to date as life on the outside unfolds.
